Patrick Daniels

Throughout his 26-year career in real estate, Patrick has been successfully involved in over $1,000,000,000 worth of real estate projects. These projects have involved industrial, multi-family, single family, commercial, office, mixed-use, self-storage and resort properties.

Before co-founding CapRock Partners, Patrick co-founded MSJ Partners in 2002. Through his role at MSJ Partners he purchased and entitled or developed over 1,000 acres of industrial and residential land with an aggregate market value of over $150,000,000, which will ultimately yield over 2,000 residential homesites and 7,000,000 square feet of industrial facilities.

Prior to forming MSJ Partners, Patrick was with Hillwood West, a division of Hillwood Development Corporation (a Perot Company), where he was responsible for the overall management of all commercial investments. In his role at Hillwood West Patrick focused on placing capital investments in value added real estate opportunities throughout California and Hawaii.

Even before joining Hillwood, Mr. Daniels was involved in the entitlement, design, financial analysis, construction, investment, and acquisition of over 1,600 acres of land, 1,300 apartments, 2,600,000 square feet of industrial buildings and almost 1,200,000 square feet of office space through his roles at Messenger Investment Company and ARV Assisted Living. Mr. Daniels began his career as a Project Manager with the Trammell Crow Company in Texas.

Some of his most noteworthy projects include 301 Congress Avenue, a 22 story high rise office building in Austin, Texas; the 9 story office building “Arboretum Point”, headquarters for Dell Computers in the 1980’s; $100,000,000 acquisition of land and industrial buildings throughout California from Chevron Land and Development; the 220 acre Parkway Business Centre in Poway, California; the world-renown “Shops at Wailea” shopping center in Maui, Hawaii; and the 480 acre Visalia Industrial Park in Visalia, California.

Patrick received both a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. Patrick also lettered in baseball and was a member of the 1983 National Championship baseball team.

He and his wife, Denise, have been married 20 years and live in Newport Coast, California with their two children. Mr. Daniels is active in his community through his activities at Mariners Church other non-profit board level duties.
